This piece was created based on a teaser photo I posted for an upcoming show. The image depicted my color draw-downs of newly stained Japanese paper layered on top of each other. I had multiple requests to translate the photo into one of my paintings. This is my rendition of the multi-colored, multi-layered photo with my own twist to it.
